Hand painted Wall Art "Lemonade"

$85.00

Each painted wood slice is my original design. I initially prime each piece of wood with an acrylic primer, so the final colors are as rich and vibrant as possible. I paint each piece with very small brushes, and also use some paint pens. I finish up with a fine line gel pen to outline, then I spray 4-5 coats of Matte sealer. Each design is signed and dated on the reverse side.

There are eye hooks with a braided faux suede cord for hanging.

The painted surface is water resistant, and can be cleaned or dusted with a soft cloth. My artwork is meant to be kept indoors, out of the rain and direct sun.

Please keep in mind that there are certain imperfections in the wood, after all, my canvas comes from nature! This wood slice is basswood.

10.75 × 8 × .75 inches - dimensions of wood slice.

14 inches total hanging height, top of cord to bottom of wood.

I started making Ukrainian Pysanky again. I used to make these eggs about 30 years ago using hen and goose eggs (right). Currently I’m experimenting with decorating wooden ones.
